Praise the Lord for His wondrous provision of our new facility at 1518 Washington Avenue! In October 2014 our congregation initially agreed to raise an additional $300,000 before we began construction on our church facility on Stringtown Road. However, God had a better plan when He provided our new facility for less than half of what our new expansion would cost! Instead of adding 9,600 sq. ft., the Lord chose to enlarge the “Banquet Table” to 42,633 sq. ft.
The congregation voted to continue to raise the initial amount of $300,000 (to add to the then existing building fund balance of $27,810.10) and to allow the church leadership to use funds from the “Banquet Table Enlargement” Campaign to purchase and/or upgrade our new facility. (All major donors to the original Campaign gave their consent to this proposal as well.)
God is faithful to supply every need in the Body of Christ. Most often, He uses the “Body of Christ” to do this. Thank you for your continued support of this Campaign. Because of your faithfulness, and willingness to use these funds to make necessary capital repairs and refurbishing of our new building, we have been able to pay the down payment on the initial purchase ($53,620.16) and fund the majority of a major heating/air repair and upgrade ($50,000.00). Our current “Banquet Table Enlargement” fund balance is $41,454.35. This current balance includes distributions for building improvements (which includes roof upgrades, plumbing maintenance on the main structure and ongoing heating/ac repairs.) The counseling center improvements include a new roof, wheelchair ramp and updated appliances.
Please continue to seek the Face of God with me for clarity, conviction, and courage as we move together in unity to fulfill our destiny to work together in the Kingdom of God.
Working together in the Father’s Harvest,
Since October 2014 we have raised $233,953.02 towards our $300,000.00 target! Thank you for your continued support! There were four donations totaling $310.00 added to the Banquet Table Enlargement Project for the week ending October 24, 2021.
