November Prayer Focus 2023

Pastor Mann's November Prayer Focus
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

LORD, You are not commanding us to give thanks FOR all things – You command us to give thanks IN all things! You have NOT commanded us to be thankful for everything that sinfulness and selfishness causes. Rather, You command us to be thankful that You ARE God regardless of the circumstances, conflicts, challenges, and chaos that confront us!

LORD, You gave Joseph the confidence and comfort to proclaim Your faithfulness when facing all that happened after his brothers sold him into slavery. He professed gratitude when he said, “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive” (Genesis 50:20 KJV). In our circumstances today, grant us the confidence and comfort to be grateful and proclaim, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 KJV).

LORD, when the enemy attempts to cause us to be afraid, grant us the confidence and comfort to be grateful and proclaim, “For God hath not give us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV).

LORD, when we are tempted by the “spirit of loneliness,” grant us the confidence and comfort to be grateful and proclaim, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV).

LORD, we pray that You will move upon all hearts to choose life, rather than the murdering of infants.  We pray that You will grant an increase in the harvest of souls, laborers in Your Vineyard, and more disciples to represent You.  We pray for revival in our nation and the Peace of Jerusalem. Amen!
