“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
Luke 23:42-43 (KJV)

LORD, You are the Mighty, Merciful, Magnificent, and Magnanimous God of Glory! You are God alone and You know no other gods! We are brought to our feet in the praise of Your Name, brought to our knees at the worship of Your Majesty, and brought upon our face at the awareness of Your Mercy!

LORD, as May is the month to “Remember,” we are prompted to “Remember” those who have sacrificed so we could be free. YOU are the ONE Who was sacrificed so we could be free from sin and the eternal consequences of sin! LORD, we REMEMBER You!!

LORD, the thief called upon You to “Remember” him, and You did! We cry out in gratitude that You do NOT forget us and are always mindful of our needs and the nature of our humanity!

Thank You, LORD, that You remember we are “dust,” and are prone to seek our own way as sheep who wander from their Shepherd! Thank You for leaving the 99 and going after us!!

FATHER, You “Remembered” Samson when he called upon You so he could be victorious in his death – so he could finish well. You “Remembered” Hannah when she called upon You so she could become the mother of a son. Samuel is a “Reminder” that You are Faithful!

FATHER, You “Remembered” Nehemiah when he called upon You. You did NOT forget his faithfulness in following Your commands.

THANK YOU, LORD that You do NOT forget like we do! BUT we are grateful that You DO “Forget” our sins through faith in the shed Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

FATHER, help us to “Remember” that You “Forget” our sinful past and “Remember” the Sacrifice of Your Son! Help us to “Remember” by living lives that exhibit Your Love, Life, and Liberty!

LORD, we seek Your Face to transform the “heart” of our nation so we will love what You love, and hate what You hate, so that the murder of infants in their mother’s wombs will end! We pray that Your justice will rise in our nation. We pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, an increased harvest of souls, and increased laborers in Your Vineyard. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen!
