Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”

LORD, we give thanks to You for providing godly, gentle mothers to nurture their children in Your ways, and to nudge their children to serve You!  We are grateful for the times they tenderly show Your compassion when it would be more convenient to pursue their own peace and pleasure.  In those moments, we experience the faithfulness of our Father!

LORD, we give thanks to You for providing gracious, generous mothers who place the needs of their children above their own.  We are mindful of the times that these compassionate mothers produce a warm smile when inwardly they are experiencing pain, and give a loving embrace to alleviate the fears of their children.  In those moments, we experience the tenderness of our Savior!

LORD, we give thanks to You for providing good, guiding mothers who would rather suffer harm than that their children should be harmed.  We are grateful for such mothers who do not abandon their children even though their children might abandon them.  We are grateful that these mothers are as quick to listen to the heart-cries of their children as they are to give wise counsel and correction to their children.  In those moments, we experience the love our Comforter!

LORD, we pray for all mothers and ask that You would restore the “natural affection” that You placed in motherhood so that all mothers would seek for Life, Liberty, and Love for their children.  We ask You to bless all mothers!

In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray that You will move upon all hearts to choose life, rather than the murdering of infants.  We pray that You will grant an increase in the harvest of souls, laborers in Your Vineyard, and more disciples to represent You.  We pray for revival in our nation and the Peace of Jerusalem. Amen!
