April Prayer Focus 2024

 
Acts 1:8 (KJV) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
 
LORD, we praise You for Your faithfulness and goodness!  You are the unchanging God in Whom we can always trust, and by Whom we receive all good things, and the working out of everything for our good.
 
LORD, we long for Your return and the establishment of righteousness and the removal of evil.  We praise You that You did not leave us comfortless when You returned to the right hand of the Father. You gave us the Promise of the Holy Spirit by Whom we may have the same Power and Privilege You have.
 
LORD, we confess that we have become accustomed to the comfort of our lives that depend upon our own power and abilities more than through the access of the Holy Spirit manifest in a life of holiness.  LORD, there is no excuse for us to be living a life of powerlessness!  Grant a renewal of the Power of Holiness and revive our hearts to be quickened by Your Presence.
 
LORD, we confess our need for You and our desire to live in a manner that manifests Your compassion, confidence, and consecration.  We cannot do this without the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit within and upon us.  Oh, LORD, send the Power just now!
 
LORD, look with favor upon Your people and grant peace in Jerusalem. Grant that Your “Spirit of Renewal” will touch the hearts of Your people so that Israel will turn to You and seek You as their Strength, Shield, and Source. We pray that the hearts of mothers will be renewed so they choose “Life” rather than “Death.”
 
LORD, we ask this in the Wonderful Name of Jesus! AMEN!
