Pastor Mann's August Prayer Focus

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (KJV)

LORD, in times of trials and temptations such as we are now encountering, Your Word, and the Promise of Your Word brings us great comfort and confidence to greet each day with Boldness and end each day with Blessing – You are our Assurance!

LORD, we recognize that the word “If” is a statement of FACT; therefore, we receive Your assurance that “Since” You are for us – NOTHING and NO ONE can successfully stand against us since we are covered in the Blood of the Lamb – You are our Advocate!

LORD, while the enemy of our soul roars and rages attempting to overshadow us with a “spirit of fear,” we are empowered by the Promise of Peace and Presence that You will NEVER leave us, nor forsake us! When everything within us desires to defend ourselves and give a resounding defense of our innocence against the lies of the enemy, Your Abiding Presence removes our fear – You are our Answer!

LORD, we praise You for Your Faithfulness that sustains us in and through ALL circumstances of this present world. We thank You for placing Your Holy Spirit into our hearts to encourage, empower, and enable us to fulfill Your Will and to be conformed more and more into Your Image – You are our Ambition!

LORD, we call upon You to open the “blinded eyes” of ALL who do not “see” their need of salvation. We pray that You will soften the hearts of those who do not value the sanctity of life. We pray that you will move upon the hearts of mothers to cherish their children more than themselves. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and that You will change the hearts of those who seek the destruction of Your Chosen People! We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen!
