January 2026 Prayer Focus

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV) “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
 
LORD, we desire to show forth Your praises and purpose by welcoming this New Year in a spirit of gratitude and grace.  We praise You for carrying us through the past year in victory. In spite of the controversies, challenges, and conflicts You brought us to, You were faithful to also bring us through!  Great is Thy Faithfulness!!
 
LORD, we seize this opportunity to place ourselves at Your feet in an attitude of submission, surrender, and service.  We ask that as surely as You have forgiven us our confessed trespasses and sins, You will also accept the presentation of our lives as “living sacrifices,” and enrich and equip us by Your Holy Spirit to bring You honor and glory throughout this New Year.
 
LORD, grant that we will be filled with Your Holy Spirit to such an extent that we will model Your Love and Longsuffering by extending Grace, Gentleness, and Generosity to all souls that Your Spirit leads us to.  May we be energized by Your Holy Spirit so that we will be as ready to extend forgiveness as we seek Your forgiveness.
 
LORD, as we awaken to each new day of this New Year, may Your Sweet Holy Spirit remind us that You have extended another opportunity to us to represent You and enjoy Your Presence being fully forgiven and walking in fellowship with You! Great is Thy Faithfulness!!
 
LORD, look with favor upon Your people and grant peace in Jerusalem. Grant that Your “Spirit of Renewal” will touch the hearts of Your people so that Israel will turn to You and seek You as their Strength, Shield, and Source. We pray that the hearts of mothers will be renewed so they choose “Life” instead of “Death.”
 
LORD, we ask this in the Wonderful Name of Jesus! AMEN!
