February 2026 Prayer Focus

Jeremiah 8:20-22 (NKJV)
“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved! For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning; Astonishment has taken hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead, Is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?”
 
LORD, as Prophet Jeremiah discerned that the wrath of Your impending judgment was coming upon Your people – Israel, we too discern the “signs of the times” whereby You warn us that Your return is imminent. We pray that You will grant unto us a depth of compassion and concern for ALL who do NOT know You as their Lord and Savior. May we weep WITH You over the loss of one soul!
 
LORD, as Prophet Jeremiah deemed that the circumstances of his people and any prospect of redemption were hopeless, we too are tempted to view the “signs of the times” in the spirit of hopelessness. Nonetheless, because You are the Rock of our Salvation, we will encourage ourselves IN You and declare that WITH You – NOTHING is impossible!
 
LORD, as Prophet Jeremiah doubted that the people of Israel would ever turn back to You and allow You to heal their broken condition, we too are tempted to be discouraged. However, we remind ourselves that You came to “Heal the Brokenhearted” and to “Heal them that are bruised.” We are encouraged knowing that You will NEVER fail!
 
LORD, look with favor upon Your people and grant peace in Jerusalem. Grant that Your “Spirit of Renewal” will touch the hearts of Your people so that Israel will turn to You and seek You as their Savior, Strength, Shield, and Source. We pray that the hearts of mothers will be renewed so they choose “Life” instead of “Death.”
 
LORD, we ask this in the Wonderful Name of Jesus! AMEN!
