Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
LORD, we come to you today with a desire to have great admiration, appreciation, and adoration for Who You are and What You are! You are God Alone! There is no other god – You know none other! You are Holy, and all holiness and goodness come from You and secures the hearts of those who call upon the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
LORD, we do not fear You as most people use the word “fear!” We reverence You, Your Divine Nature, and Your Divine will. Grant us a heart that will promote a lifestyle of worship. In this “lifestyle,” grant that our reverential worship of You would manifest a respect for Your Divine Presence through our thoughts, words, and deeds that would portray that You are “The Lord before whom we stand.” Grant that our lifestyle of worship would exhibit an obedience to Your commands and a submission to Your appointments!
LORD, You command us to bring a sacrifice of brokenness and contrition as we seek to approach Your throne. We confess that this cannot be done EXCEPT You, “create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.” We call upon You to grant a revival of genuine brokenness in each of our hearts – therefore, producing a spirit of brokenness in our congregation and our nation.
LORD, we seek Your Face to move within the hearts of ALL women so they will value and validate the lives of the children conceived in their wombs – therefore, they WILL choose LIFE for their unborn! We call upon You to grant a revival of righteousness in our nation. We pray for a rich harvest of souls, an increase of laborers in Your vineyard, and the Peace of Jerusalem. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen!
