Psalm 46:10-11 (KJV) “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”
LORD, if ever there were a time wherein, I needed to “be still,” it is at this “time!” The inconsistencies of Church leadership’s speech and actions, the incongruities of National Leadership’s philosophies and professions, and the divisive expectations of the varied “groups” in America have all but made it seemingly impossible to find “rest” in Your Presence. LORD, I confess my need to take every thought that is contrary to exalting You and finding my “rest” in You captive and bring them into agreement with Your Word. LORD, I confess my need of YOU!!
LORD, I stand in awe of You! When I consider how You stood resolutely, resignedly, and resiliently in Your Father’s Will that directed You to Calvary, I realize that the trials of today are pitifully small; AND, You are so wonderfully bigger than any problem I shall ever confront! Nonetheless, LORD, I confess my need to relish my relationship and renew my fellowship with our Heavenly Father!
HOLY SPIRIT, forgive my thoughts, actions, and intents that have greatly grieved Your heart! Move upon me once again to cherish the forgiveness that has been extended to me from the Father through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ! Quicken me once again to the Life of Christ that is in me and Your Partnership that teaches me how to walk as Jesus walked!
LORD, teach me how to continually deny myself as You denied Your Personal Agenda to seek to fulfill the Father’s Will! Teach me how to find my “rest” in the full fellowship with the Father as You did.
FATHER, I pray You will move upon all hearts to choose life, rather than the murdering of infants. I pray that You will grant an increase in the harvest of souls, laborers in Your Vineyard, and more disciples to represent You. I pray for revival in our nation and the Peace of Jerusalem.
I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen!
