NEW HORIZON KIDS

At New Horizon Fellowship our children are taught the foundations of the Bible! They encounter the presence of God through worship, and they learn what it looks like to live daily as a passionate follower and friend of Jesus. 

NURSERY

Our Sunday morning nursery is for newborns through 23 months of age. Nursery is available from 9:50 a.m. until the end of morning service. As our nursery staff care for and play with the children, each one will be reminded of how they are valued and loved by Jesus!

TWOS AND THREES!

Our Twos & Threes class is for age two through age three. The children begin the morning in the sanctuary for music worship with their parents. When all the children are dismissed from the sanctuary for class, twos and threes are escorted by their family to their classroom.  
Our twos and threes love to sing, play instruments, make crafts, eat animal crackers, and take part in fun activities that bring the Bible story to life!  An Action Bible Verse is shared each week as we believe no one is too young to begin planting the Word of God in their heart!

PRE & K CLASS

The children in our Pre & K class are age four through kindergarten.  The Pre & K children begin their Sunday morning with their parents in the Sanctuary. Children are dismissed to classes prior to the morning message.
Just as Jesus used everyday objects to teach eternal truths, our teachers use Bible curriculum with fun games, stories, and crafts that help kids relate to the Bible story that is being taught each week.  It is encouraging to see children have so much fun as they are taught the most important lessons in history.

FIRST THROUGH FIFTH GRADE

Grades 1 through 5 meet in the Chapel on Sunday mornings for Kid’s Church. The pace for Kid’s Church is fast and fun as the children use music, games, object lessons and hands- on activities to explore the wonderful truths found in God’s Word. The children in Kid’s Church also begin their morning by worshipping God in the sanctuary with their families until they are dismissed for class in the Chapel.

WEDNESDAY EVENING

NURSERY

Our Wednesday evening nursery is for newborns to 35 months. Nursery is available from 5:50 p.m. until the completion of classes at 7 p.m. Our nursery staff are a loving group of ladies who love to play with the children and share the love of Christ. 

PRE-SCHOOL + KINDERGARTEN

Wednesday evening is a more intimate setting. Our preschool (ages three & four) and kindergarten class join for a fun evening of Bible stories, crafts, music, snacks and activities. Each activity points children back to God’s Word and how to live it out in their day to day lives. Snacks and Bible action verses are served each week as we fill our little one’s tummies with an after-dinner snack and the sweet Word of God!

1ST-5TH GRADE

Grades 1 – 5 gather on Wednesday evening in the Chapel for Kid’s Church. A different lesson is offered on Wednesday evening than on Sunday morning.  The pace is fast and fun, and full of God’s Word! Kids are challenged each week to learn the Bible Memory Verse! Our goal is to ground them in their faith in Jesus and equip them to go out into the world and be Jesus to each person they meet!  Because Jesus stated that unless we change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  As these pure-hearted young ones become more familiar with God’s Word, they impact their families, friends and acquaintances for eternity!

CHECK IN PROCESS

We take seriously the privilege of caring for and teaching children. Their safety is of the utmost importance to us. On your first visit, come to the Welcome Center and we will have you fill out an information sheet so we will know how we can best serve your child. Children in nursery through grade 5 will only be released to parents and anyone else that you grant written permission. 

After we receive your child’s information, you will be shown their classroom and where you can pick them up following morning service. If you are needed for any reason, you will be contacted via text to come to your child’s classroom.
