Life Groups

At New Horizon Fellowship we believe community is so important to the process of discipleship in our walk with Christ. The reason we provide Life Groups at New Horizon is not to be “trendy” or create “cliques”. We are providing Life Groups because the Lord loves community. There are so many people that say “how do I plug in?” or “how do I get involved?”. Really, we all just want a place to belong. And Life Groups are a place where that can happen. As we are intentional to gather and study God's Word and encourage one another in prayer, we will see lives changed in the process of our gathering

Life Group gatherings will look different depending on which Life Group you attend. We have Life Groups taking place all over the city, in coffee shops, homes, restaurants, malls, and even right here at our church. However, the content of every life group is the same. After each sermon that Pastor Carl preaches on Sunday, questions pertaining to the sermon are sent to all of the Life Group leaders, and we dive deeper into the content that our Pastor has on his heart for our church. This keeps our groups unified in the vision of our church and allows for deeper conversations & questions about what Pastor is preaching about. 

Life Groups aren broken up into a Spring & Fall Semester (similar to a school schedule). We meet from February-May and September-December with gatherings taking place every other week. Each group meets at different times during the week depending on when each Life Group leader decides to meet.
