February Prayer Focus 2025

Psalm 73:24-26 (KJV) “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

LORD, our faith IN You and our faithfulness TO You are being challenged by the enemy of our soul today! Everywhere we turn, and everything we experience in the “natural” realm shouts to our inner spirit that “God does not care” or that “God is absent or otherwise preoccupied” to be the least bit interested in the affairs of humanity! BUT, because You are ETERNALLY Good, we proclaim Your Faithfulness! We have learned that we CAN trust You!

LORD, we confess that there are times and trials wherein we cannot “see” Your Hand or “hear” Your Voice because of the circumstances and confusion the enemy contrives to steal our peace. Nonetheless, You have proven time and again that You ARE our Faithful Guide and Counselor Who is “working all things together for our good!” Indeed, we have learned that when we cannot “see” Your Mighty Hand, we CAN trust Your Merciful Heart!

LORD, there are increased incidents of deception, discouragement, and distress presented in our “walk” with You. We know the enemy of our soul is using these “distractions” with a desire to cause us to doubt Your Love. When the enemy attempts to dissuade us from “standing” on Your promise wherein You state You “will never leave us nor forsake us,” we encourage ourselves in the knowledge that You are at the “right hand of God” interceding for us!

LORD, I shall proclaim the hope of Psalmist Asaph – “Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee!” IN and WITH this we decree – “YOU are ALL I need!”

LORD, look with favor upon Your people and grant peace in Jerusalem. Grant that Your “Spirit of Renewal” will touch the hearts of Your people so that Israel will turn to You and seek You as their Strength, Shield, and Source. We pray that the hearts of mothers will be renewed so they choose “Life” instead of “Death.”

LORD, we ask this in the Wonderful Name of Jesus! AMEN!
